Course Description: 

Check out this exciting, brand-new camp at Mini University! World-Wide Kids is an opportunity for children to investigate their communities, develop their leadership qualities, and gain global awareness. Children will examine successful leaders of the past and learn how they can make a difference in everyday life in Leadership class. World History class will provide students with a global perspective on cultures and histories. Studying the political spectrum in Political Science and cross-examining mock trials in Law class will provide students with the tools and knowledge to help them change the world. Then in Marketing class, students will learn how to create marketing tools that will help them to advertise their ideas. Every child that attends World Wide Kids will also have the opportunity to go on an exciting field trip to either The Military Museum, Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park, or The Calgary Police Interpretive Center!

Field Trips:  An exciting field trip is always part of this camp - this year’s destination will include a visit to one of the following locations:

• The Police Interpretive Center

• Military Museum

• Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park
