Course Description: 

Set your child's inner muse free with a summer spree into the arts - all the arts! In this creativity packed camp your kids will get a chance to try multiple artistic mediums, and explore a variety of disciplines. In the visual arts your young picasso will draw, paint, sculpt and more. In drama, your young thespian can  improvise and script short plays and skits. They will learn moving to rhythmn and choreography in dance class and develop their ear as they hone their singing talent in Music class. Using the the latest graphic design technology they will transform their  creative ideas into digital masterpieces. Students in Artactular Artists will have the opportunity to view a performance from a professional acting troupe or tour an art gallery. At the end of camp students will showcase and combine their new found skills in a performance that parents, family, and friends will be eager to attend! 

 

Field Trips:  Students in this camp will have the opportunity to gain exposure to authentic artistic experiences including:

• Visit to a contemporary art gallery

• Viewing an engaging performance by professional acting troupe
