Course Description:
Have fun and get active this summer. This camp is action packed with a variety of sports, games and activities! You'll learn how to make healthier health and nutrition choices and study the finer points of body movement in Kinesiology. Your imagination will also get a workout as you climb pirate ship rigging and avoid snakes while playing on our fantastic gymnastics equipment. We'll play some fun traditional sports like soccer, basketball, and baseball and enjoy a few new activities like Barbarians and squirrel tag. Students in Multi-Sportastic will have opportunities to take advantage of the University of Calgary’s world class facilities, including the swimming pool, Olympic Oval skating rink and racquet center.
Activities:
•Splash in the pool twice a week
• Skating in the Olympic Oval
• Run off steam with a multitude of fun outdoor activities
