The Director’s Cut Reel Film Experience (Ages 9-13)

The Director’s Cut Reel Film Experience puts you live on location in the director’s chair. Write a script, scout shot locations, learn multi angle filming techniques (free hand and tripod), act in the film, edit the film on the newest Macbooks, add voices, sound effects music and titles.... and then stick around for the crazy pie fight, the Amazing Digital Race, a swim in the pool and our newest summer activitiy called “!”. Just when you think the wild Hollywood ride is all done... we whisk you and your crew off in our Yellow limousine (aka school bus) to Cineplex Theaters to see one of Hollywood’s summer blockbusters. On Friday, you walk the red carpet and eat some freshly popped popcorn at the exclusive DC Film Festival..... standing room only! Each participant receives a DVD of their film and will have the chance for your to be premiered at The Totally Awesome Film Festival and Reel Fun Film Festival www. reelfunfilmfest.com across Canada in 2011. 

The Director’s Cut Claymation @ 24 Frames Per Second (Ages 9 - 13)

24 Frames per second... 10 colours of clay... 5 days... real DC film makers... your imagination and creativity can only equal one thing... A Summer Blockbuster! Under the direct supervision of a DC film maker you and your crew will create a concept, write a script, create characters and clay objects and design backgrounds and sets. Using the latest digital equipment from Apple, you will learn multi angle stop motion filming techniques, add voices, sound effects music and titles to create this summer’s greatest stop motion film. Then, stick around for the crazy pie fight, the Amazing Digital Race, a swim in the pool and our “A” list activities. This year, participants will also create a movie trailer and movie posters to advertise their blockbuster. On Friday, you walk the red carpet and eat some freshly popped popcorn at the exclusive DC Film Festival..... standing room only! I Wanna Rock at The Director’s Cut (Ages 9 - 13)

Rock and Roll lives at The Director’s Cut this summer! We turn the volume up to 10 and rock out on your terms. Don’t worry, we also do pop, rap and anything else you wanna do! Working with a DC film maker you and your crew will create a concept, write a script, scout shot locations, learn multi angle filming techniques (free hand and tripod),choreograph and sing in the video, edit your video on the newest Macbooks, and then add titles and special effects to make your video #1 on the billboard. Stick around for the crazy pie fight, the Amazing Digital Race, a swim in the pool and our “A” list activities. This year, participants will also create a movie trailer and movie posters to advertise their blockbuster. The Director’s Cut Stop Motion, Digital Comics (Ages 6 - 10)

Create a stop motion film using your toys, and our art supplies and then become a super hero, or super villain in your own professionally finished comic book, use the latest and greatest equipment from Apple, throw a pie at your favourite film maker, race around in the Amazing Digital Race, go for a swim and participate in ‘A’ list celebrity activities in 5 days? Absolutely! Exclusively at The Director’s Cut this summer! Under the direct supervision of a DC film maker you and your crew will create a concept, write a script, used your toys,and design backgrounds and sets to be used in your own own stop motion film. Using the latest digital equipment from Apple, you will learn multi angle stop motion filming techniques, add voices, sound effects music and titles to create this summer’s biggest blockbuster stop motion film. You will also create a published comic book using digital cameras, learning how to import, edit and “comicfy” you and your film crew. On Friday, you walk the red carpet and eat some freshly popped popcorn at the exclusive DC Film Festival..... standing room only! Each participant receives a DVD of their film and a professionally published comic book.
