Course Description: 

Do you think it would be fun to be 'Survivor Man'? Here is your chance to learn about wilderness survival techniques, build survival kits, start a fire with minimal supplies, build shelters, and spend a night in one you built and put it all to the test!  Prerequisite: none.  Parent meeting on May 26th at 4pm.

Course Description: 

Spend the day floating down a local river. River and route is dependent on weather and water levels: 17th ave to Fish Creek, Fishcreek Park to Policeman’s Flats, Bowness Park to the Zoo, Ghost Dam to Cochrane.  Prerequisite: none.

Course Description: 

Kick up some mud on awesome trails this spring! This course will introduce kids to the fundamentals of mountain biking, including body positioning, balance, gearing, and basic obstacle riding.  The first session will be spent on a local Calgary trail where kids will learn where they can ride for free all summer long. The last three sessions will be on Kananaskis trails.  Prerequisite: comfortable riding a bike and eager for off road surfaces.

Course Description: 

Ready to Ride? This intermediate course allows kids to brush-up on their current riding skills, and get out to experience the real thing.  The first session will be spent on a local Calgary Trail and the following sessions are spent in the mountains, mastering the skills of balance, gearing for hill climbing, cornering, and obstacle riding. From the diverse trails of Bragg Creek to the skills parks of Canmore, trails reflect the transition between cross-country and freeride skill development. Prerequisite: confidence riding off-road terrain (single/double-track) & eagerness to progress riding skills
